Military Records

Wilfred served in the WW1 in  the 12th Battalion. He is on the South Riana Honour Board for his service of nearly four years.

WW2 : Service Number T29657, gave his birthdate as 9 June 1892 (corrected later), of Penguin. Enlisted at Riana on 1 May 1942, with next of kin Jessie his wife , married with 4 children, living at South Riana. His description was 5’10”, 154 lb, ruddy complexion, brown hair, blue-grey eyes. Suffered slight varicose veins and Muscular Rheumatism but not enough to affect his service. No further details are known.
