School Records

number365 at South Riana State School. Enrolled on 26 January 1927 by his father William (sic), a farmer from South Riana living ½ mile from the school. He left in May 1935, overage and went home to work on the farm.

 

Military Records

Service number T27232, placed in 22 Light Horse. He enlisted at Penguin on 13 March 1941, a single farmer aged 19. His next of kin was W.W. Good. He commenced Full Time Duty on 15 December 1941 and worked as a Signalman at 12 Aust Army. He mainly served in Tasmania and Queensland before his discharge on 16 December 1943 for ‘farm work’.
