Enrolment # 177 Penguin State School on 10 July 1922 by father Albert Revell, a mill-hand, living South Road 1 ½ miles from the school. Finished that year in Prep, 1923 P – 2, 1924 I and 1925 II until leaving Penguin S.S. in June 1925 to go to Waratah State School. No records are held for Waratah.

 

Military Records

Service number TX3826 in 2/40 Btn. He enlisted at Launceston on 9 July 1940 with next of kin his father Albert. Keith was an unmarried farm labourer from South Riana with fair hair and grey eyes. Served at Brighton from 9 July, was granted leave from 15 July to 20 July, admitted for surgery/hospital in August 1940 (toe nail extraction) where he stayed for a week and then was discharged  on 11 September 1940 being described as ‘medically unfit for service (not occasioned by his own default)’.
