5 November 1980 at Burnie and is buried at the Central Coast Memorial Park.

 

School Records

Enrolment #305 at South Riana. Admitted 21 January 1924 by his father ‘Jack’, a farmer from South Riana, living a mile from the school. Dallas was in Prep in his first two years at school, then in 1926 U.P. (Upper Prep), 1927 I, 1928 II, 1929 IV, 1930 V, 1931 VI. He left on 28 September 1931 as he was ‘over age’.

 

Military Records

Service number T18142, enlisting on 12 August 1940 at Burnie. He gave his next of kin as Jack his father, and his trade as a self-employed woodcutter. He joined the C.M.F. 16 December 1941 and placed in the 110 Res MT Coy. and served for a period of 265 days which included Active service of 145 days, all in Australia. He was released for Farm Work – a Reserved Occupation -  for M.W. Kaine at Riana on 17 September 1943. On release he was a Private in the 110 Res M T.
