Enrolment number358 South Riana State School. Details given by father Charles Good farmer of South Riana living 1½ miles from school. Admitted on 4 October 1926 and he left school on 31 July 1933 as he was over age.

 

Military Records

Service number T2782, enlisting on 16 August 1940 at Penguin - a Trooper in the 22nd Light Horse Sqn where he spent 3 months. He stated he was a farm labourer and his next of kin was his father Charlie from South Riana. He then joined the CMF on 14 May 1941 and was placed in the 22nd Motor Regiment. His next of kin was Mavis Good, his wife as he had married during leave 19 February 1942 to 2 February 1942. He was described as 5’8 ½” with fair hair and blue eyes. He served for 115 days in the C.M.F. with all his time at Mona Vale, Southern Tasmania. He was discharged on 8 April 1942.
