Service number T27891, Trooper of 6th Remount Troop. Birthdate 17 Jan 1912, single, farm labourer. Enlisted 13 March 1941 at Penguin, next of kin Tom Harkness, father living at Sassafras, previously South Riana. He had dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
Marched into camp at Mona Vale in July 1941 and completed his training by the end of September 1941. In Feb 1942 he was transferred to Area 50 (for Reserved Occupations) and was discharged in October 1947.
