Service number VE/831378 Cpl in 22 Light Horse. He joined the C.M.F. on 14 February 1929 as a Trooper  in Ulverstone. His next of kin was listed as John Dick, his father of Ulverstone. His description reads ‘ height of 6’, fair complexion, blue eyes and reddish hair.’ He was a single labourer and was aged almost 27. He became  L/Cpl on 1 August 1938 and Cpl in 29 February 1939.
